Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequently asked questions about our care services.

What accreditation does Precision Care have?

Precision Care and Health Group is run by a team of qualified health care professionals who have a Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged care, NDIS qualifications for disability, and enrolled nurse and/or registered nurse qualifications for case management and palliative care.

We are QMS certified and undergoing ACHS certification. We are also government-approved providers for NDIS, the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

What is private home care?

Private home care is home care funded directly by you. Unlike government-funded packages, there are no waiting periods, and you can start immediately.
We develop a private home care plan together that meets your lifestyle needs and helps you with your weekly routine.

Does my private care cover my home care or palliative care costs?

No. Private health care does not cover palliative care.

How do I pay for my Home Care Services?

From government funding to private funding, there are several ways to pay for the services you need. If you would like to discuss your options, please phone us on 1300 942 273 and we will be happy to assist.

How flexible is my support?

We are very flexible and can provide you with services seven days a week and at any time of the day and night. We want to ensure that you receive the support you need when you need it. We will work with you to make sure you are receiving the tailored services you need. If your situation changes, we can adapt our support as required, and we can also help arrange support if you take a holiday or spend some time away from home.

How long can I book a Carer or nurse for?

You can book a health care professional from Precision Care and Health Group from as little as 1 hour and up to 24 hours. A member of our Assessment Team will work with you to ensure that you receive the number of hours that will allow you to achieve your desired outcome. Remember, it is up to you to make the final decision.

Who pays for my care?

Precision Care and Health Group is a wholly Australian-owned family company. We have a set rate that is fair for the client, the worker, and ALPHA. Private clients will fund their own care.
